I am working on making the game to look as a game I like. Current 1-bit design that was in the game is mostly a prototype stage design. I am experimenting now with a different assets. So current game state is not in any was a look the game will have.
I tried different character sprites and map designs. Also I replaced weapon icons. I think they look better now.
Though it's a huge work in progress stage, that's why this game now looks like a Frankenstein Monster. But I hope you will have some patience to wait for the better and more beautiful version.
Meanwhile, some more useful changes:
- Added new weapon "Electric Spark" that will randomly strike different enemies and will stun and damage in some area of hit.
- An Apprentice sword was reworked. I think now it looks much better and feels more like a melee weapon.
- Made more detailed upgrade stats for the levelup items
- Ultimate charge now only charged with time, not with experience shards
- Updated achievement openings
- Added trap mechanics (Can be tested on Runic Pass map)
- Added some more sounds to weapons
- Default volume is set to less harsh 70%
- Updated character sprites and added animations of walking
- Updated monster sprites

There are much more changes under the hood. They will be revealed soon.
